Christ Lutheran Church (CLC) celebrates the past, and embraces the future.  We are located in the midst of Aurora, Oregon, a city that prides itself on its passion for history and its commemoration of the pioneer spirit.  Aurora was founded by a colony of seekers, intent on building an authentic Christian community. 

The Old Aurora Colony was known for its hospitality and for the way its members cared for each other and for the stranger in their midst.  Although the colony disbanded over a century ago, we like to think that some of the positive spirit of that original community is still a part of who we are today.

At the same time, CLC is a community of faith excited about what God is calling us to be now, and into the future.  People came west to seek out what was still undiscovered.  We believe that God is calling us, through worship, fellowship, prayer, and service, to discover, by God’s grace, our place in this world.  What is God up to?  How is God active in the world?  In your life?  We invite you to join us in this discovery!
