Martin Luther and his fellow reformers recognized the power of music to teach and to inspire. Many of the church’s early hymns were written to tunes that were as likely to come from beer halls as from ivory towers. We continue to praise God with a variety of instruments and musical styles in our worship.
At our traditional service, we sing more familiar hymns, as well as portions of the liturgy.
At our contemporary service, the congregation sings music led by our praise band musicians and vocalists.
At each service, we have talented musicians who help lead us in community song. However, we believe that each voice contributes to our offering of praise and worship to God.
